February 2007 The Louisa McCord Chapter assisted Camp 51 in preparing the marker laying service for Samuel N. Martin, a Confederate Cherokee Indian. Samuel Martin's remains lay in the Enon Church Cemeter on Fort Jackson, S.C. The Black Roses, S.C. OCR Chapters, SC SCV, UDC, Harlee Guard, and numerous Indian tribes from around the country had representives there.
