Sandy Run, South Carolina

Located in the path of Sherman's Army of destruction is the community of Sandy Run. Once prosperous and wealthy, it is today a small community of common folk. Within the boundaries of the former Wolfe Plantation is the family cemetery which contains the remains of a War of 1812 veteran and four War Between the States veterans (three brothers and one brother-in-law). The remaining brother two other brothers are buried in other cemeteries (Mt. Zion Methodist & St. Andrews Methodist).
